Nachos and *NSync

So I went to the Red Sox game last night with my wife, brother and his buddy. We were sitting 18th row in the bleachers underneath the scoreboard. With the Sox out of playoff contention, the past month of games have lacked their normal buzz and excitement. However, this night was a little different. I listened to a young girl in row 19, on the phone with a friend saying, "It is him. I have been to like 8 of his shows. I know what he looks like. I am freaking out!" Even though there was a baseball game going on, my interest was piqued to find out who she was talking about. Finally, this young girl plucks up the courage to go over to a guy sitting right next to us. It turns out that 4 seats down from us in our row was Joey Fatone, of NSync, with his entourage. Anyway, to make a long story short, my brother makes some small talk with Joey and his crew. Then, the next thing I know, during the 7th inning stretch, my brother has been handed a Nacho Libre wrestling mask and is doing the robot to "Sweet Caroline" in front of the whole bleacher section. Forget Big Papi's 54th homer or Schilling's 15th win, seeing a "has-been-boy-band celebrity" video taping my brother posing in a wrestling mask... priceless.

New Addition to Team S.S.

Skeey V Entertainment is proud to announce that Tony Mento, known in the industry as "The Minty Fresh Dealmaker" and "The Count of Money Cristo", has agreed to manage Shaun Sugars on a part-time basis (Saturdays, 8AM-11AM).

"I'm gonna take that kid places he's never seen before," Mento said on the conference call. When asked for details on those places, Mento got angry and hung up, but later called back and blamed his secretary for the mix-up.

A man of many faces, we managed to find two of them:

In case you don't believe us....

Don't let the ring on his left hand fool you -- that's a "friendship ring" that Shaun wears. As he says, "The whole world is my friend. Young women, old men -- I love them all."

So line up, everyone!

Sweet as Sugars

Encouraged by our relationship with the music industry, we have decided to create our own record label and management company. Skeey V Entertainment (where the V is for Victory) has recently signed our first artist -- Shaun Sugars.

Shaun has risen rapidly through the notoriously crowded Boston music scene and has become a household name on the Canton/Stoughton line, specifically the Cobb's Corner portion of the line.

We'll have more in the future, but here is the much-anticipated album cover.

'Lost' Time

So I finally listened to Al, my brother and 17.5 million other insistent Americans. I broke down and watched both seasons of ABC's 'Lost'. I ended up downloading both seasons from iTunes. $35 each. Not bad, except that I watched all 49 episodes in the span of 10 days. Thank God the show is only 42 minutes an episode. You can easily pack in 4-6 of them in a night. Now I can enter into intelligent debates about the meaning of 'The Hatch' or who 'The Others' represent or why the heck Hurley can't lose any weight while just eating fruit and hiking 5-10 miles all over the island everyday. Just what my brain needed. Check it out.
