Seasons Greetings!

Bulletpoints, Festivus style...
  • First off, happy holidays everyone. Be safe, enjoy your friends and family, and remember that getting drunk and jumping into the X-mas tree is only funny if someone's going to post it on YouTube. If it's not viral, it's not funny. Save yourself the aggravation of picking needles out of your shirt. There's always New Year's Eve to make a fool of yourself.

  • We at Skeey want to thank everyone who continues working with us. Why you do, we have no idea. But we appreciate it.

  • We were listening to The Feelz' (or The Feels', there's an ongoing debate about this) iTunes library last Friday.....crazy selection of music. We had it on shuffle and there was one sequence where it went "Nuthin' But a G' Thang" to "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" to "The Legend of Zelda" theme song. This dude's one crazy cat. CK's afraid of him.

  • I love my new MacBook Pro. Will go into detail at a later time how the transformation went. Bit too nerdy to discuss right now.

  • Kudos to Big Jim and the gang at Virgin Radio UK for a) finding our blog entry and b) enjoying it. And coming up, a brilliant new song by Snow Patrol! Not sure if they've done their Top 500 all-time song countdown yet, but I have to believe they'll have "Chasing Cars" in the top 3.

  • Peppermint Mocha Venti at Starbucks. A real party in your mouth.

  • CK made us watch "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" on DVD yesterday. The absolute worst movie I've ever seen. I highly recommend checking it out.

  • Am I bitter that my fantasy football team missed the Super Bowl because Peyton Manning throws touchdowns from the 1-yard line rather than handing off to a running back? Of course not. Nah, not at all. Serenity now....serenity now.

The Virgin Radio UK drinking game

I have to post something just so my chicken video isn't at the top of the page....um, yeah. And Gavin -- I really don't think the iPod version was necessary.

Here's how the Virgin Radio UK drinking game works.
  1. Open up iTunes
  2. Go to Radio
  3. Select the Top 40 category
  4. Select Virgin Radio UK
  5. Get some alcohol (if at work, hide it under your desk)

Point system (modified slightly on Sat, Dec 9th):

If......then drink
- the DJ says a song or artist is "absolutely brilliant"3 shots
- merely "brilliant"2 shots
- only "fantastic" (kudos to Matt H. for the inclusion)1 shot
- an Oasis song is played1 shot
- Oasis is mentioned for no apparent reason2 shots
- a Snow Patrol song is playedhalf a shot
(trust me)
- a George Michael song is played3 shots
- during the traffic report, a vehicle is turned over on an expressway4 shots

Enjoy the drunkenness!
