Happy Birthday CK!
This past year has presented so many achievements for our company. We have landed some new clients, produced some award-winning work, reveled at the birth of Shaun Sugars and watched as CK's hair took on a life of its own. When you get a chance send the big guy a note in recognition of his efforts and wish him a happy birthday. While you are at it, here are a few gift ideas:

The Curse of "Duncan Sheik Thursdays"
Two weeks ago, I made fun of CK's "Duncan Sheik Thursday" iTunes playlist. Apparently, karma's got a wonderful sense of humor. That night, got into a car accident and totaled my car. Last Thursday, while driving the Nana-mobile, it died on the way to work. And now today, the third Thursday of my post-Sheik world, I have the flu and have resorted to mulling around the office in a semi-decrepit state.
Being a logical person, my only conclusion is that Duncan Sheik has put a curse on me. Unsure of the cure. I could just listen to his music and acknowledge its mellow brilliance. Nah, we'll see how next Thursday goes. At some point he has to move on.

Site of the day
We've received Adobe's site of the day for The Ahmet Ertegun Tribute site.

Still waiting to hear back if the Weeblo wins for the Bestest Blog Ever. We're up for the award in both the "stupid observational frat-boy humor" and "most infrequent posting for a blog that has 'Daily' in its title" categories.

The sound of music
Gavin's off to Vegas for some much-needed R & R, so that leaves Larry and Curly alone at the office. And because CK showed up earlier, he's the DJ.....which means it's Duncan Sheik time!
There's only one day worse than "Duncan Sheik Thursdays", and that's "Morrissey Mondays." Talk about depressing....apparently CK's more productive when he has tears streaming down his face.

Happy birthday to Kelvin Carty!
Gavin turns the big *ahem**ahem* today. Can you believe he's already *cough**cough*? Seems like he was just 30 a day ago.
G-Dog is the accountant, phone-answerer, and unofficial boss of the company. If we ever give ourselves fancy titles, he'll be CHHO (Chief Head Honcho Officer). On a side note, CK will be CGHO (Chief Gnarly Hair Officer) and I'll be CQUO (Chief Quirky Officer). So, given the fact he has all these customer-facing responsibilities, how is that no one gets his name right? He speaks clearly and his email signature contains his full name, yet he's been called Calvin, Kelvin, Galvin, Melvin, Gary, Kevin, Carthy, Carty, and the other day got a bill addressed to "Michael Gavin". C'mon, people, it's a pretty easy name. Show the birthday boy some respect.

Hah hah hah
Just turned on Virgin Radio and "Chasing Cars" was voted the #1 song of all-time. I really need to get in the prediction business. But, seriously, how can it be the greatest song of all-time when it's the 17th track on the Grey's Anatomy CD?
Happy new year, everyone. 2006 was a year of work, play, laughs, cries, hellos, and goodbyes. No reason to think 2007 will be any different. C'est la vie.
