See you later, Kevin Arnold

CK's last day is today before he moves to Ireland. For the curious amongst you, it really shouldn't change too much about our operations. Prior to getting an office in 2005, we each telecommuted for five years and managed to work effectively.

However, the workplace will be different. The past two years have been ridiculously fun and the highlight of our working lives. We don't toss the football around in the parking lot, we don't go to the gym at lunch, and we don't head out early to hit the golf course. Just three guys sitting behind their monitors, making each other laugh. Without getting too choked up, it probably won't ever be the same.
"Growing up is never easy. You hold on to things that were. You wonder what's to come. But that night, I think we knew it was time to let go of what had been, and look ahead to what would be. Other days. New days. Days to come. The thing is, we didn't have to hate each other for getting older. We just had to forgive ourselves... for growing up.”
-- The Wonder Years

And, yes, you have no idea how hard I searched Google looking for a picture with Winnie Cooper in the middle...

Most Underrated Song of the '80s...

...Steve Forbert's "Romeo's Tune".

We've been listening to "Best of the 80s on Sky.fm" on iTunes lately (sorry Virgin Radio), and this song comes on every now and then. It's light, it's catchy, it's delicious.

If you're in a bad mood, it will turn that frown upside-down. And if you're already in a good mood, then it will make you want to sponsor a mile of a highway and hop and skip up and down that mile.

Astute and bored readers (that's you, Hansen) will no doubt know that the song came out in 1979. And that's exactly what makes it such an underrated 80s song.
